Butterfly milkweed plays a vital role in the monarch's survival. It's native to Niagara and honestly the queen of the pollinator garden. I might be biased but I think it's also pretty gorgeous, and don't the monarchs know it.
Milkweed Naps is an original painting turned fine art print by Kat Leibfried (aka Frenly) of St. Catharines, Ontario. Butterfly milkweed in full bloom with monarch caterpillars doing their thing, the before to the butterfly, living their best larval life.
