Temporal Joy

Five women, a living room, a disco ball, and absolutely zero apologies. Temporal Joy is unrestrained joy. Laughter, a bold act, dance a thriving rebellion against the mundane. A cheeky happy face mug grins from the sideline, the disco ball throws light everywhere it shouldn't, and outside the window kids are doing the same thing in their own way. Generational, defiant, and a little bit electric.

This piece is about the impermanence of joy and the audacity of grabbing it anyway. Featured in the opening group show at NOTL Contemporary, Niagara on the Lake.
